A child feels safe enough to dream when they are seen, heard, valued, supported, and cared for.  When those needs are unmet, dreaming often becomes distorted, postponed, or disconnected from our deeper longings.

In this session, we return to those foundational needs. We listen to the child within, attend to what was not fully met, and create space for dreams to come back into relationship with truth, hope, and possibility.

When those needs are met, we allow ourselves the possibility for our dreams to serve our deepest longings and restore hope in them coming true.

This is not goal setting. It is not outcome-driven visualization. It is about restoring the inner ground from which meaningful dreams can grow.

What This Workshop Is About

• Working with the inner child and unmet childhood needs
• Understanding how unmet needs affect our relationship to dreaming
• Restoring core inner qualities such as safety, trust, care, and being valued
• Allowing dreams to reconnect with deeper longings
• Creating inner conditions where hope and imagination can return

Why This Timing Matters

This workshop takes place as Neptune enters Aries during the live session, marking the beginning of a new planetary cycle that unfolds over approximately 165 years, the time it takes Neptune to complete one full orbit around the Sun.

Neptune’s cycles are slow, deep, and foundational. They shape our collective relationship to imagination, longing, hope, and what we believe is possible. Aries marks beginnings, identity, and the impulse to emerge into life as ourselves.

When Neptune crosses into Aries, attention naturally turns to the earliest layers of the self, the places where hope was first formed or interrupted, and the conditions required for dreams to feel real and alive again.

As we move toward the strong new-beginning energies building later in February, this inner child work becomes especially relevant. Meeting unmet needs around being seen, heard, valued, supported, and cared for directly affects how we step into what comes next.

This session offers space to tend to those foundations at the very start of a long cycle, so the dreams we carry forward are rooted in truth, presence, and a deeper trust in what wants to grow.

How We’ll Work

This session combines:

• Guided visualization
• Neurographica used as a creative, reflective process

No prior experience with Neurographica is required.
A short orientation and basic practice resources are included on the course access page for those who are new. Participants are asked to review these basics in advance.  No artistic skill is required.

Materials

• Paper or a sketchbook (you may wish to use a larger sheet, or tape two regular-sized sheets together vertically if you’re using images)
Black permanent marker (fine tip Sharpie)
• Chisel-tip tank style highlighters or coloured pencils
• Images that reflect what it feels like to have your inner child’s needs met*
• A quiet space where you can be present

Preparation *

If you choose to gather images ahead of time, think of them as you would for a vision board, not images of goals or achievements, but images that reflect internal states such as feeling safe, listened to, supported, valued, and cared for.
