Here’s what you need to know to feel prepared and comfortable for our time together.
This page will help you arrive grounded and ready, even if you’re completely new to Neurographica. You’ll find a short orientation, a simple materials list, and a brief video so you can familiarize yourself with the drawing process ahead of time.
Neurographica is a drawing practice that helps release stress, quiet anxious thoughts, and access deeper inner clarity. By blending art with neuroscience, it offers a gentle way to process emotions, work with subconscious patterns, and open new possibilities for healing and growth.
Through Neurographica, you can access your subconscious mind, clear inner blockages, and discover creative pathways toward clarity, purpose, and self-connection.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, navigating change, or seeking inspiration, this practice supports movement forward with greater ease, confidence, and inner calm.
No previous drawing experience is needed, and there is no right or wrong way for the drawing to look.
Please have the following materials ready before the workshop:
• Letter-size white printer paper (this works perfectly well and keeps things accessible). If you have it and would like something more durable, heavier-weight multimedia sketchbook paper is also a great option and helps prevent bleed-through.
• A black permanent marker (Sharpie fine point is recommended)
• Coloured tank-style chisel-tip highlighters and/or coloured pencils
• A notebook and a pen or pencil
Please watch the short video below demonstrating the neurographic line and rounding, the two basic techniques of Neurographica. You may want to practice on a few sheets of scrap paper until the movements feel more comfortable. Over time, your lines will get more natural feeling and rounding will become smoother. It takes practice, but you don't need to have them polished before your first session.

You may use this template for a Life Balance drawing.
Print it on regular paper and draw directly on it, or redraw it on your preferred paper or at a larger scale.
