A podcast for those drawn to the wild edges — where ancient threads and present paths intertwine.

I created Explore with Lori Ference as a space for those who live between the worlds, who hear the call of the land, the ancestors, and something deeper within. This podcast is rooted in spirituality, nature, and lived experience. It’s where I share stories, conversations, and insights from my own path and from others walking theirs, in hopes that they awaken something in you too.
Angels on the Clothesline: A Conversation with Ani Tuzman
After a two year hiatus the Explore with Lori Ference podcast returns with a new episode.
In this episode I speak with author and writing mentor Ani Tuzman about her memoir Angels on the Clothesline. Ani grew up as the daughter of Holocaust survivors and began writing at a young age as a way of making sense of the world she had inherited.
Our conversation explores memory, voice, family history and the ways the past continues to live within us across generations.

After years of working in video and television, I was deeply familiar with producing broadcast-quality content alongside professional editors. But I had never done the editing myself. These episodes were my way of continuing the podcast visually. They were recorded through Zoom with basic equipment and shaped through a self-taught deep dive into professional editing tools. While the video quality is simple, I’m proud of the stories and the content. It was a rewarding creative challenge but ultimately not sustainable as a solo effort. I still love working in video and hope to return to it with the support to do it well.
